This policy explains how Sales Stag (“Sales Stag”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information. It covers our website at salesstag.com, our Client Portal and our outbound sales service. It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and any contract you sign with us. We have written it in plain English. If something is unclear, email us at privacy@salesstag.com.
1. Who we are and our role
Sales Stag runs email, phone and LinkedIn outreach for agencies and other B2B service companies. Our team works from Pakistan. For the personal information described in this policy, Sales Stag decides how and why it is used. That makes us the “controller” of that information. We will update this policy if our legal entity details change.
2. Information we collect
| Who | What we collect |
|---|---|
| People we contact for our clients (“prospects”) | Name, job title, company name, company size, location, work email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile link, their replies and messages, call outcomes, and meeting booking details |
| Clients and their team | Name, email address, company, job title, billing contact details, onboarding material (target profile, offer, sales material and lead lists), Slack workspace details used for notifications, booking link details, and LinkedIn access for outreach. We also keep invoices and transaction history |
| Client Portal users | Login details, and what you do in the portal, such as comments and the closed-deal marks you add |
| Website visitors | We do not collect personal information through forms on our website. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security |
Payments are handled entirely by Whop. We never see or store your card details.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information such as health, religion, political views or government ID numbers.
3. Where we get information
- Public company directories. Which directories we use depends on the industry a client wants to reach.
- Paid contact databases and data enrichment tools, which we use to find the right people at those companies.
- Prospects, when they reply to us or book a meeting.
- Clients, when they onboard, supply lead lists or use the Client Portal.
4. How we use information
- To run outreach for our clients by email, phone and LinkedIn, and to book meetings. For prospects, our basis is our legitimate interest in business-to-business outreach to people whose role is relevant to the offer.
- To deliver our service to clients, including reporting, meeting tracking and support. Our basis is our contract with the client.
- To bill and keep records. Our basis is our contract and our legal and tax obligations.
- To improve our copy and train our team. We study replies and results to improve our messages. Where a client has agreed in writing, we may use results as social proof. We do not publish prospects’ names or contact details.
- To protect our systems and prevent abuse, and to follow the law and honour opt-outs.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use it for anything other than the purposes above.
5. AI and automated replies
We use AI tools to reply to interested leads by email. A member of our team then calls interested prospects and messages them on LinkedIn. AI tools process message content only for this purpose. We do not use AI to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on anyone.
6. Calls and messages
- Our team places calls. We check numbers against Do Not Call registries and remove registered numbers.
- If someone tells us they are not interested, we stop and do not push.
- We do not record calls at the moment. If that changes, we will tell everyone on the call at the start, and we will update this policy.
- You can opt out at any time. See Section 12.
7. LinkedIn access
With the client’s permission, we log in to the client’s LinkedIn profile and send messages from it. We use this access only for the outreach the client has agreed to, and only team members who need it can use it. We end our access and hand the profile fully back to the client within 3 days of the engagement ending. Clients should change their password and review active sessions after we have finished.
Our website uses cookies only for display, such as remembering your choice on the cookie banner. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, tracking pixels or session recording. If this changes, we will update this policy and the banner before the change takes effect.
- Our clients. We share prospect information from their own campaigns with them, such as replies, bookings and meeting details.
- Service providers who help us run the service, acting on our instructions. These include email and workspace tools (Google Workspace), cloud services (Microsoft Azure), messaging (Slack), scheduling (Cal.com), payments (Whop), our calling system, our CRM, data providers and AI tools.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- A successor, if our business is reorganised or transferred. We would tell you first where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. Only our employees can access it, and each can see only what their role needs.
10. Where information is handled
Our team works from Pakistan. We store information on our own systems and on trusted tools we use, and some of their servers are outside Pakistan, including in the United States. This means information about prospects and clients in the US, UK, EU and elsewhere may be handled in Pakistan and in other countries. Wherever it is handled, we protect it as described in Section 14.
11. How long we keep information
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Prospect information | For the life of the client’s engagement. After the engagement ends and the data is handed to the client, we delete our copy within 30 days |
| Do-not-contact list (name, email address and phone number only) | Kept so that we never contact you again. This is the one thing we keep after deletion |
| Invoices, transaction history and contracts | 7 years |
| Client Portal account | Until the account is closed. We then delete it, apart from the records above |
12. Opt-outs and your rights
Opt out. Reply “stop” or “not interested” to any message, tell us on a call, or email privacy@salesstag.com. We act within 7 days, often sooner. We add you to our do-not-contact list so that none of our campaigns contacts you again, on any channel.
Your rights. Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop or limit how we use it; and
- object to us contacting you.
Email privacy@salesstag.com. We may need to confirm who you are first. We reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
13. UK, EU and other countries
We use US rules as our baseline, but the laws of the UK, the EU, Canada, Australia and other countries can apply to some of the people we contact. For business contacts in the UK and EU, we rely on legitimate interest: we contact people at their work address about services relevant to their role, and we make it easy to object. If you object, we stop. We also follow local opt-out and consent rules where they apply to the people we contact, and we may decline a campaign in a country where we cannot meet those rules.
14. Security
We protect information with:
- password-protected accounts and servers;
- two-factor sign-in on key tools;
- role-based access, so each team member sees only what they need; and
- encrypted connections (HTTPS).
No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If we confirm a data breach that affects a client’s data, we will tell that client within 72 hours of becoming aware of it. We will notify others as the law requires.
15. US state privacy rights
If you live in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will not treat you worse for making a request. To make a request, email privacy@salesstag.com.
16. Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about children.
17. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we will give clients 14 days’ notice by email and a Slack announcement before it takes effect. We will also update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
