Hi, I’m Fahad. Here’s why I built Sales Stag.
I’ve spent more than four years in cold outbound, and most of what I know came from getting it wrong first. This page is the honest version of that story.
Four years in the trenches
I started as a freelancer in sales and cold outbound. Over four-plus years, I helped my clients book more than 180 high-ticket meetings. I’ve run campaigns from a thousand sends a day up to ten thousand. Cold email has always been my strongest side, though I’ve also done my share of LinkedIn outreach and cold calls, so I know how the game actually works from the inside. Most of my clients have been marketing agencies.
For years, my biggest enemy was the spam folder. I burned domains. I watched campaigns collapse, whether they were email, calls or LinkedIn. I kept fighting it as a technical problem.
What I finally understood
In 2025, I started learning from people who do this better than I did. Eric Nowoslawski and Nick Abraham showed me what disciplined cold email looks like at scale. Giulio Segantini and Saad Khaja taught me how much human care a cold call takes. Alex Hormozi taught me how to build an offer worth saying yes to.
And I saw the real reason my campaigns kept collapsing. It was never only the tools. Again and again, I was pitching people before I had earned their trust.
Why 2025 changed everything
AI has made cold outreach so easy to set up that spam is everywhere. Sending emails, calls and DMs costs almost nothing now, which means inboxes and phones are more crowded and more sensitive than ever. Getting the same results takes more care, not more volume.
Before, the big players won by sending more. Now, volume without care is a dead end, and not many companies are ready to admit it. I sit somewhere in the middle: enough volume to matter, with the precision to be welcome.
The retainer problem
I also noticed something else. Almost every great cold outbound company charges a large retainer. I felt that myself. When I wanted to try the best of what was out there, I backed off, because I didn’t have the resources or the revenue to risk. If an offer has potential but the retainer is too big, it never gets a fair shot.
For agencies, meetings are the gold standard, and retainers eat margins. And a meeting that never shows up is a wasted one, yet very few companies will run a retargeting campaign to win it back.
My last client made me see it. Nobody said a word. I just watched and understood that retainers are not a great offer. If you really want to help someone, you have to take some of the risk too. I believe the risk between a contractor and a client should be at least 50/50.
How we work
That belief is built into Sales Stag. We charge for attended, qualified meetings, not for effort. If a prospect doesn’t show up, we don’t charge for it, and we run a retargeting campaign at no cost to bring them back. Every client gets a team of three for white-glove support, with expert cold callers on it.
But how we treat people matters more to me than how we price. We are here to help, not to pitch. If we hear two no’s in a row, we stop. We don’t use clever sales tactics or objection handling. If someone clearly tells us they don’t want it, they wouldn’t be a better client if we somehow closed them. Trust is the most expensive thing in the world, and I would rather build it than win a bit more revenue.
Proudly from Pakistan
Sales Stag is built in Pakistan, and I say that openly. This country has world-class talent that deserves good leadership and a fair chance to show what it can do. I built Sales Stag to give that talent the chance to excel, and to give the market what it actually needs without carrying a ton of risk.
